Whereas, dedicated clinical laboratory science practitioners maintain the highest standards and continually work to improve the quality of laboratory services; and
Whereas, detection of emerging and re-emerging pathogens demonstrates the critical role laboratory professionals play in the response to public health emergencies; and
Whereas, the residents of North Carolina benefit daily from the significant contributions of medical laboratory professionals for their health and wellness;
Now, Therefore, I, Josh Stein, Governor of the State of North Carolina, do hereby proclaim April 20-26, 2025, as “Medical Laboratory Professionals' Week” in North Carolina, and commend its observance to all citizens.
